Happy bday claire and jo , love you guys :)

Met up with clara last week (finally!) at sicc, ms chiang didn't bring her shoes so we ate. And i got hit on the head by a 2 year old girl, with a plastic phone and another time with her hand, i really liked her at first.

I've been addicted to friends the series, watched season 6 and season 8 and soon-to-be season 9.   I love how the main characters in the show are equally close to each other.

Today after training, claire belle nic and i went to the bukit timah hawker centre to have lunch...the place is called 7 miles... or so i think it is. Let me just say i suck at choosing the right food...i ended up with this plate of awful chicken rice. Here's why the chicken rice sucked :

1) It did not taste good

2) I found weird white strands in it.
me: whats this...
claire: looks like a fish bone i think?
me: .... wait but that stall doesn't sell fish....
then we burst out laughing.

I BLAME BELLE .... hahahhaha. Okay im kidding but seriously.. after i bought my chicken rice, and settled down to eat it, she gave a list of good food to buy there. " The hokkien mee here is really good, and the white carrot cake..." So the next time we go there, i'm consulting her first.

Anyway, Indescribable by Louie Giglio, a message on astronomical grace. Watched the dvd on fri at cell with thanks to delia :) And here's what amazed me the most :

This structure at the core of a whirlpool 31 billion light years away, taking into mind that 1 light year = 9,460,730,472,580.8 km.  If you're thinking whoaa right now, thats the same reaction i had haha. It is wow, truly indecribable. It's nice knowing everything sort of "revolves" around God, and how he's always watching over us, despite how small and insignificant we are in this huge huge huge world.

HAPPY BDAY NICK!

Wow my stomach is amazing, after eating spoons of expired yogurt, it's still the same. Btw, expired yogurt meaning 15 + days expired.... i am proud of my stomach

Anyway cny this year.... it was so slack, but fun of course.

The highlight of my cny this year- my brother sis and i go for prata supper. at the carpark, the car bangs against something but we think its nothing big till we get out of the car and realise that the whole left bumper is gone. so we run across the carpark, see screws and this 1m long piece of metal there, and we freak out. we run back to the car with the bumper in our hands and people staring strangely at us and we try to fix it back on. we obviously fail in doing that, so we end up breaking the news to our dad. Hahahaha.

Its probably about 1 pm in africa now, kinda miss the place. Ok but the bad part about the holiday is that some things happened in singapore while we were gone... which wasn't good.

Well anyway, i ate so much meat there... seriously. Zebra meat, wilderbeast meat, crocodile meat, ostrich meat and the other usual meats which aren't as weird. Okayyy it sounds really cruel i know, but hey the animals were already barbequed, so why not try them right? Heh. Although it made some of us feel a little hm topsy turvy in our stomachs, especially the zebra. Oh my goodness when i was eating it i thought of the other zebras we saw at the game reserve that morning...part of the striped fella in my stomach. Besides meat i ate a flying termite and part of a leaf, the ranger said those were edible, proteins!

It was also pretty odd that it was kinda cold there, because its supposedly summer over there now. We even used the fire place at this lodge we stayed in, haha just imagine winter there.
